How much are sew-in hair extensions?
The cost of hand-tied extensions vary from client to client because it all depends on the look you're trying to achieve. For a more accurate estimate you can fill out the Extension Pre-Consultation Form or schedule an in-person consultation on the Extension page.

Why do you have install packages?
Packages are offered as an all inclusive service. This ensures I am prepared for any and all services needed to achieve your desired look with extensions.

What are weft hair extensions?
Weft hair extensions the type of hair extensions used with a beaded row method. Hand-tied wefts are thin and flexible allowing you to stack multiple wefts together to give thickness and/or length. Elite wefts are an ultra thin weft that are also flexible and can be stacked with or without hand-tied hair to give thickness and/or length. Hand-tied hair can shed when it is cut if not glued properly, and Elite wefts do not shed. Elite wefts are 1.5 times the amount of hair that Hand-Tied Hair has and both are often used to described the type of extension service, ie: Hand-tied Hair Extensions.
How long do weft hair extensions last?
Weft hair extensions can last between 6-9 months depending on how well you take care of them. However, many of my clients can go between 9-12 months or longer.

How often do I need to have my hair extensions moved up?
Maintenance (move-up) appointments for your Hand-tied Extensions are every 6-8 weeks. This does not include color for your hair or extensions.

How do I maintain hair extensions at home?
A step by step care guide for your extensions is given to you and discussed at your initial install to ensure you know how to properly care for your extensions at home. It may seem overwhelming at first, but once it is explained and you create your routine, it will actually save you time on your hair.

Can I swim in my hair extensions?
Yes you can swim in the pool or at the beach with your extensions. Make sure you apply a deep conditioner to your hair prior to putting it in a top knot bun. Once you're out of the water, be sure to promptly rinse with clean water and wash with a clarifying shampoo and condition with a mask to restore moisture.

Can I blow dry, flat iron, and curl my hair extensions?
Absolutely! Extensions are made of 100% real human hair and can be washed and styled just like your natural hair. You'll need to use a heat protectant on the extensions to prevent heat damage.

Do the hair extensions need to be colored to match my hair?
Most often, yes. Extensions are matched to your hair and your inspiration color as closely as possible. However, hair extension colors are not always a “perfect” match to your hair color. All extension packages include a color service of the extensions in order to create the most seamless and natural blend between the extension and your hair color.

Will I be able to feel the hair extensions?
After your first install you may experience some tightness, but this is normal and will go away within 24 hours. If you've never had extensions before or have a sensitive scalp it may feel a little uncomfortable like a dull headache. The extensions will begin to loosen and feel more natural as they start to grow out, and after a couple move ups, they will feel less noticeable.

Why do wefts hair extensions cost more than tape-in or keratin bond extensions?
Hand-tied and Elite hair extensions cost more because the way the hair is sourced and made by hand. It takes a person between 8 and 10 hours to create a full set of wefts for your install. Wefts are made by taking individual hair strands and tying them to the thread, ie hand-tied weft. This is why it is called a Hand-tied Weft and why it costs more.

Do Sew-in Hair Extensions cause damage?
Sew-in hair extensions have the least amount of risk for damage. With hair extensions wefts there is no adhesive such as tape or glue used to build the foundation. In fact, the row is created with a bead and your hair making it completely customized based on your hair, lifestyle, and head shape. With a proper install and correct at home care, you'll be set up for success from day one.

Where does the hair you use come from?
The hair I use in your install is ethically sourced and manufactured in West China. The men and women are compensated with a 6 month salary in exchange for their which allows them to provide for their family, while gifting you the hair and confidence you've always wanted.

After the extensions are installed, if I change my mind or want to change the style, color or the length can I exchange or return my extensions?
Extensions are a personalized service and are custom ordered based each client. There are no exchanges, returns or refunds. If a change is requested a new appointment and reservation investment will need to be made and all changes will be charged accordingly. There are no refunds for extensions.
